Today marks the second year anniversary of the “Brady’s Bunch,” an online message board community for fans devoted to Brady Quinn.

The website you are reading now, was created by a self-employed web designer from the Columbus, Ohio area, who has created websites for U.S. Olympians, including Mark Spitz and Dara Torres, as well as maintaining interests in many other sites.

After faithful devotees formed following Brady Quinn and the site, interest rose into the creation of a message board where these impassioned and sometimes overzealous fans could talk Brady 24/7. On January 12th, 2009, the “Brady’s Bunch” message board was born as part of Brady-Quinn.org. [Think Grady Sizemore's "Ladies" with just a tad more propriety. No offense ladies. I like what you do. ]

As Brady’s popularity grows, so does his faithful elite.

Click the BOARD link above or ‘Brady’s Bunch‘ in the title, and follow the prompts. Soon there after (usually within 24-36 hours) you will receive a confirmation email to reply to and then you are all set. The message board members are a friendly bunch, but boy are they protective of Brady. If you want to share about all things Brady Quinn, Notre Dame, and the Browns, then that is the place for you. The message board prides itself on no disparaging and derogatory remarks. It is not true that you cannot comment on Brady in a negative light – far from it – we are the first ones TO DO it, but we don’t nor see the need to bash and berate.

Feel free to browse the posts in the background, but we really encourage you to share your stories and opinions. Currently, we have had postings of several hundred Brady Quinn football cards, several thousand photos, editorials revolving around Notre Dame, Cleveland Browns, and football politics, personal anecdotes, and many other topics.

As Brady Quinn grows in strength, intelligence, and spiritual and corporeal maturity in his own life as well as professional life, we will grow too.

First of all, we use @bradyquinn because we can. It’s the easiest to remember, is it not? BQF’s Feedburner account uses the name “bradyquinn” as well. Doesn’t mean we think we’re Brady Quinn. It’s not that serious.

Secondly, we, as fans, feel protective of Brady. Recent news has surfaced that he’s trying to acquire the rights to BradyQuinn.com, but is having difficulty. Seems the person who owns the domain doesn’t want to give it up without a fight, resulting in Brady having to go to court and fight for it. He’s gonna have to pay up if he wants that domain. If we owned BradyQuinn.com, he’d already have it and no money would have to change hands.

With as wildly popular as Twitter has become, we wanted to make sure that that never happens to Brady, should he decide he wants to tweet. So, we’re sort of “squatting” on the username. We’re keeping it warm just in case Brady wants it. We have never claimed to be Brady; quite to the contrary, actually. And anyone who can read knows that.

If you do follow our account, you will still get positive and informative Brady Quinn updates; just not directly from him. His camp knows how to contact us, and the process of changing hands would be much more pleasant for all involved. I can’t say that’d be the case if anyone else had registered the @bradyquinn Twitter account (and you know someone else would have, had we not). We also won’t make him pay for it. Twitter usernames aren’t like domain names in that you really can’t buy, park, and save for later usage.

So, frankly, we don’t give a damn if you think we’re misleading people. If you don’t want to follow us anymore, click that “unfollow” button and be on your way. We’re true fans of Brady Quinn and will do everything we possibly can to promote his career. If that means “reserving” a Twitter username until he wants it, then so be it.

And just so everyone knows, BRADY QUINN DOES NOT HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT!

I posted this in the previous post’s comments and thought it deserved a post of its own. I’m well aware of all the rumors running rampant on the internet. It is what it is. Instead of re-posting every little murmur that surfaces, I’m just going to sit back and wait. We’ll see what happens!

This is where I’ll put the latest video I feel like sharing on the site. Yes, I know the BQF YouTube Channel is still around, but when using YouTube you have to worry about the Copyright police rolling through and deleting your vids. I don’t have to worry so much with this site.

So, check out that spot for the latest Brady video. I’m not going to post everything, though. The Browns website makes it entirely too difficult to cap their multimedia and I’m too lazy to do that on a regular basis. BQTV could feature a cool Brady play from a game, a vintage interview, or just fluff. You never know!

I ran into a few snags that required support from my hosting problem, but now that those are ironed out, the site is up and running with just a few issues here and there.

As a result, the dedicated server was overloaded to the point where I can’t even access the control panel!

In the wee hours of the morning, because I haven’t been sleeping much with all the stress, I managed to get in, back up BQF, and migrate the site to a new webhost. I’m not sure how long the site will be here, but it should be pretty steady for the time being.

Let me know if there are errors on the board or gallery. Still working out the kinks!

I’m probably going to tinker with some more of the colors here and there, but those will be subtle changes.

Upon looking at the site today I decided that I am no longer feelin’ this theme. So I’m now on the search for something new & fresh!

So, in the coming days, if you stop by and things are in disarray, that is why.

Just giving the site a facelift as it’s about to turn 1 year old!
