To Jimmy Clausen
Sing in the key of “Beauty School Drop-out” by Frankie Avalon from the movie Grease.
No Graduation Day for you.
Notre Dame drop-out
Taking your risks with the draft too.
Well at least you could have taken time to finish your degree.
And then you’d have your education, the draft is no guarantee.
Who do you think you are?
You did not always win.
You’re not an Irish star.
Certainly no Brady Quinn!
If you go for your diploma, you could do the draft next time.
You and Tate are good not great, foregoing education’s a crime.

Chat w/ other Brady Fans!
couldn’t agree more! SO disappointed in them. i can kind of see why, from what i’ve heard about the nfl putting a cap on the amount of money that the rookies make coming in. but football won’t always be there for them.
I like how this is set to Frankie Avalon’s “Beauty School Dropout” from “Grease”!
I love that movie and song!
It isn’t right how Jimmy and Golden aren’t returning for their senior seasons at ND; earning their degrees is important. It would be better if they completed their studies at ND first–and then declared themselves eligible for the NFL Draft.
Brady returned for his senior season at ND and completed his studies there before entering the NFL Draft; as a result, he is working very hard and doing well in the NFL.
Hysterical! How appropriate I was watching Grease last night…
Yes, I agree it’s foolish for both Jimmy Clausen and Golden Tate to forgo their senior years. Nothing is guaranteed in the NFL, and having a degree to fall back in in the event they are not drafted high or at all. One stellar season in college does not spell success. Plus, losing them is a big blow in what will be a tough rebuilding of the Fighting Irish football team this offseason.
