Brady Quinn: “I Will Not ask to be traded.”

I know this site is getting hit with a lot of queries, so in a nutshell…

09210943-51

Brady DID NOT ask to be traded.

Brady WILL NOT ask to be traded.

Brady WILL NOT BE traded.

Brady’s HOUSE IS FOR SALE, due to commuting distance and up-keep – NOT due to trade speculation.

Brady WANTS TO PLAY for the Browns.

Brady PLANS TO HONOR his 5-year contract with the Browns.

Brady WILL NOT speculate on any of the Browns’ decisions

Brady HOPED TO HAVE BEEN FURTHER ALONG in his NFL career but it is not in God’s Plan or God’s Will.

Brady DOES NOT have to hold the clipboard this year.

Brady says it is tough for him to not be on the field but that is how it is. He is going to keep working, keep practicing hard, and hope for the opportunity to come. He will persevere and try to do what he can to help the team.

And may I add, he is one helluva guy. He has been through the ringer and yet he still has his faith in God and may I say, even the Browns. Where others may whine and bellyache about playing time, decisions, and finances; Brady Quinn has been ONE CLASS ACT through it all.

    He his handling this so well and professionally. There are many more people who would be having a fit, like o say Braylon Edwards, Terrel Ownes, and probably Kellon Winslow as talented as he is. Brady is such a gentlemen, and his faith in God is inspiring. I love that man!

    This is definitely what I expected from Brady. He always has and always will be a class act, and from what I read today about his “coach” in Sports Illustrated, Mangini is classless; smokeless tobacco and all!

    If you haven’t had a chance to read this article entitled “The Young and the Tactless” by Stefan Fatsis, I highly recommend it. It provided me with some insight as to why Brady and Mangini may be at odds since it states that Mangini and other descendants from the Belichick “tree of coaching” believe that “intimidation, humiliation, and a hail of f-bombs are the secrets to NFL success.”

    Brady, we all know that you are a man of faith and conviction. Stay strong and continue to persevere, and I know that your efforts will be rewarded.

    I’ll admit he’s a good kid for not wanting to get out of Cleveland, he’ll get to play soon.

    @AndersonIsBetter

    There’s a little bit to like about Brady for everyone. Derek Anderson can be a good quarterback as well (and the couple fieldside games I saw in 2007 hinted to just that), but all of the many minor things need to be addressed before either of them can truly succeed in any venue.

    Admittedly, this is a Pro-Brady site, and Derek does stand in the way from a depth-chart point of view, so I hope you can understand our frustrations. Hell, when Brady messes up, we are the first to scold him. Check out previous posts and report cards. Something NO ONE
    wants to see their QB do.

    What kind of name is AndersonIsBetter? You’re on Brady Fan!! Lol, have you hit your head? ;-)

    Anyway, I knew at once when I heard his home was for sale that he wanted a shorter commute, and honestly, 5 bedrooms for one guy? A little insane.

    I’m excited for the game this week. I have a hope that da’s going to bomb, abd Brady;s going to be put in. We’ll see……

    Go Brady! Go Browns!!!! =]

    Brady is such a strong and inspirational person. :cool: He never gives up. I admire this about him. :cool:

    Brady will do well in the NFL with his positive attitude. :cool: Brady is the best! :smile:

    @AndersonIsBetter

    I would like to thank you for saying something like that about Brady. There’s a lot of Derek fans out there who couldn’t care less about Brady’s positives, only his negatives. If anything, he HAS been faithful to the Cleveland Browns and plans to remain there for as long as he can, unlike other whiny divas in the NFL who moan and cry because they have not realized there’s no “I” in team. Thank you for taking the time to look at that aspect of Brady Quinn.

    Brady has been so faithful to the Browns…it’s time they started being faithful to him. I can’t imagine being in Brady’s situation and still wanting to play for the Browns. He’s a very inspirational person!
