Training Camp Opens Saturday! Are We Ready?
I’m not sure we Brady fans are fully prepared for this “open competition”. I know I’ve been chomping at the bit for some news, so maybe I should have been more specific about exactly what I was asking for. Too late now as it’s time to go camping!
ESPN has a video up discussing Braylon’s mystery injury or whatever is going on with him. (It’s always something, isn’t it?) Also covered in the video is a fluff piece about the training camp showdown between DA and Brady. Not a whole lot of information, if any. Actually, it’s pretty much a waste of time. But if you’re truly bored, take a look below:
I gotta think that if this competition is more mental than physical, Brady will shine. His outlook and focus will lift him above DA, who sometimes looks to crack under pressure. Whomever keeps it together the best, while making the fewest mistakes, will win the starting job. I truly hope that is Brady.
All of the rookies are signed and the team gets it crackin’ Saturday morning at 8:45 in Berea. The day’s second practice will be at 5:45 PM. Visit the Browns Training Camp Central.
Browns Preseason Games to Air in Central Ohio
I’m sure this news doesn’t have as big an impact for you BQF readers as it does for me, but I’m sharing it anyway! I have to wipe away the cobwebs from up in here ya know!
Columbus’ CBS affiliate WBNS 10TV has announced that it will air all of the Browns’ 2009 preseason games.
The Browns open their preseason on Aug. 15 at Green Bay. Then, the team has two home games the next two Saturdays, against the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans. Cleveland concludes its exhibition schedule on Sept. 3 in Chicago against the Bears.
So, if you’re in the Greater C-Bus area, you’re in luck!
This reminds me that I need to figure out when I’m going to see the team this year…
