I’m Cuckoo for Brady Quinn
I can’t take it anymore…. There’s been a reason why I’ve been so quiet. I’m in limbo with anticipation. I don’t know whether I should be ready to sigh with relief that Brady stays in Cleveland – which means he will most likely have to fight for the starting QB position BUT means he stays relatively close to me so that I can go to games; happy that he gets traded away from Cleveland to a team that would use and appreciate his talents; angry that Cleveland’s office would do such a thing to Brady and his fans; white knuckling my keyboard, remote controls, mouse, and cell phone for the first information FACT BASED about Brady’s fate; or just an overall frustration bordering on ennui because I am just so tired of all of this.
Terry Pluto, who seems to have Brady’s and our back, hears this…
An NFL executive told me he’s not heard much discussion about Brady Quinn being traded, but trading Braylon Edwards remains a real possibility.
And then just this morning I read this…
A general manger told Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post that he expects Cleveland to trade Brady Quinn this week but he’s not sure what team he will be heading to. The prevailing feeling in the NFL is that the Browns like Mark Sanchez and have spent considerable time getting to know everything they can about him.
I know our beloved admin is trying to hold us all together and that all of this pressure will be released very soon as the draft approaches – possibly this week. Here’s how *I* feel.

Your explanation was much better than mine, but I agree 100% with what you said. I feel the same way. You have a way with words and that truly escaped me when I made the previous post.
I seriously want to pull my weave out with all this back and forth crap. Can it be Saturday already? I think we all need some sort of closure.
An excellent blog post, John. I definitely agree with what both you & Suz had said.
I am very anxious about Saturday – - I have butterflies in my stomach.
I just hope and pray that the Browns don’t trade Our Brady. Also, I hope that Braylon isn’t traded, either.
I like that picture of “The Scream”; this is one of my all-time favorite paintings.
