Brady Out For the Rest of the Season?

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer, citing the ever-infamous “sources” thinks so. ESPN is scrolling this as “Breaking News”.

Browns quarterback Brady Quinn is done for the year after doctors revealed that the break to his right index finger has gotten worse since he’s tried to play through the injury, sources told FOXSports.com.

Team sources said that Quinn and the team made the decision together earlier today. Sources say that not only has the break in his right index finger worsened, but it is also starting to injure the tendons as well.

Great. Just great. Brady finally gets his chance to start, gets hurt, and now has to miss the rest of the season? Now watch DA light it up the rest of the season (since he doesn’t have to keep looking over his shoulder for Brady). And watch his performance end up saving Romeo and Phil’s jobs. Then we’ll head into the off-season with the coaching staff and front office naming DA the starter for the 2009 season…again. And we’ll have to go through this allllllll over again.

I’m not sure I can take it. Can you?

This is how I feel right now:

Apparently Romeo is going to give an update at his 11AM presser. But with how things have shook out for Brady since he’s been in Cleveland, this is probably true. Boy can’t catch a break! (Pun absolutely not intended)

Sometimes “sources” are right, and sometimes they are wrong. Right now, I have a terrible feeling in my gut that this is true. Brady’s Bunch needs to mobilize and start a therapy/support group. We’ll all need it!
