Another winnable game — not to mention a solid debut by Brady — results in a loss.
FINAL SCORE: 34-30
There are no other words, are there? Nah, there’s always more. Here are some thoughts off the top of my head:
1. It is unacceptable to give up 93 yd. TD passes
2. K2 had a great 1st half, but a less-than-stellar 2nd. Another game he plays in that the Browns lose. There really does seem to be a pattern…
3. Braylon was not the #1 option for this game and he caught some passes. Progress!
4. Brady finished 23/35 for 239 yds, 2 TDs, and NO INTs. Very impressive!
5. Josh Cribbs is a game changer! Just an amazingly explosive and talented ball player.
6. If we don’t use our 2009 draft picks for some defenders, I’m going to lose my mind!

Makes me smile. I can’t wait to see what he can do with more than a handful of practice snaps with the starters!
I am thinking the same thing…
I went to bed with mixed emotions, but after calling a friend, we realized that our long wait is over – Brady debuted with panache, grace, leadership, and an overwhelming desire to shield and protect his team by taking all the blame. (Something he feels he has to do, but the arrows of failure know EXACTLY where to hit their mark.)
The man is amazing and I am anxious and enthusiastic of what comes next….
Brady played an excellent game. He passed well, protected the football, and managed the game extremely well. If only he played on defense too.

I’m so happy Brady did well! I’d like to see DA go a whole game without fumbling, throwing an interception, or getting sacked. However, our defense needs some work.
