Week 1: Dallas Cowboys @ Cleveland Browns
I definitely considered selling my first born to attend this game, but decided against it. Besides, it’s much easier to get my live football fix by staying in Columbus and heading down to campus to see Ohio State.
The Browns officially kick off their 2008 campaign with a difficult task as they host the Dallas Cowboys.
As a fan, I am still wondering how all the injuries are going to effect this team as well as the heightened expectations.
It’s not really “news” that DA is back at the helm as the Browns starting QB. I’m just glad that Brady was finally given a chance to start and get some reps. Even the most talented QBs in the world need to play in order to get better. Here’s to hoping that 2008 doesn’t mirror 2007 in that respect.
Kickoff is at 4:14 PM and the game should be televised nationally on NBC. Check your local listings. Additionally, you can visit ChannelSurfing.net for ways to watch or listen to the game online.
Go Browns!

September 7th, 2008 at 10:46 pmWow. What was up with the Browns today. That was a nasty game. DA couldn’t throw a pass, or at least a good pass to save his life. I was chanting Brady by the 2nd quarter. lol.
What message board are you all talking about. It sounds like fun!

Right below the banner that says “Brady Quinn Fan” are tags named: HOME, ABOUT, BRADY QUINN, MERCH, SCHEDULE, SITEMAP, BOARD
Our HUGE message board is located there/ Click, subscribe, wait for our admin, Suz, to activate you and I’ll see you on tHE BOARDS. Where it is all Brady all day.
SUZ, This is the fourth time I can recall people not knowing where the message board is. Do you think you could make it more noticeable for people to sign up? Thanks!
September 8th, 2008 at 6:10 amthanks flyte44. I am a member of that board, but I can’t remember my username or password. So once I figure it out, I will be joining you all!
September 8th, 2008 at 10:25 amIt’s not my fault people are blind! lol
The navigation is easy to see and if people miss it, then that’s on them. I mean come on!
Besides, my main concern is the blog, not the board. If oversights like missing where the board is means more people sign up to comment on posts, then mission accomplished. They’ll make it to the board eventually and the site will retain its search engine positions. (Yes, comments do come into play a little with rankings).
If this site stays high in search results, that means more people will eventually make it to the board. Right now, we’re thisclose to being comfortably on the front page of Google for “Brady Quinn” searches. Sometimes we’re the last site on page 1 and sometimes the 1st site on the 2nd page. That’s big! So, my goal is the site being visible. Everything else will fall into place.
