Brady to get Start #2?
Sure looks like it!
DA returned to practice for a little bit yesterday, but Coach Crennel has said that he doesn’t think it was enough to warrant playing him in tomorrow’s preseason finale against the Bears.
So, if Derek doesn’t play, that’s another start for Brady. Romeo said he’d like play Brady for the first half before giving the rest of the reps to Ken Dorsey.
WR Braylon Edwards still won’t play, because of his hilarious foot injury, which bums me. I really, really, really wanted Brady to get some quality game time passing to Braylon. Who knows when his next chance will be. Joe Jurevicius, another target, is out too, and will remain so for at least 6 weeks.
Kickoff is tomorrow at 7:30 PM (ET) from Cleveland Browns Stadium. I’m not too sure about nationwide coverage, but it will air in central (WBNS, CBS) and northest (WKYC, NBC) Ohio. In Chicago, Fox 32 will show the game. Additionally, NFL Network will replay the game Sunday at 1PM. If you want to watch online, Browns Backer and ChannelSurfing.net have you covered!
Suddenly this song is playing in a loop inside my head? Foreshadowing? Perhaps!
