Brady Will Start on Saturday
I know this is a little “Captain Obvious” of me, but I felt the need to post that Brady will indeed be the starter for this Saturday’s preseason game against the Detroit Lions.
After DA’s “mild concussion” there really was no need to rush him back into the lineup and risk further injury, so Brady gets the nod. He finally gets a chance to play with the starters who make everyone look good. Hopefully his name will be added to that list.
“You gotta have fun with it, especially my first time. I get to start now. So it will be a good opportunity, and I’m looking forward to it.”
Watch Brady’s post-practice press conference from today, here.
The Browns travel to Detroit to meet the Lions Saturday. The game has a 4:00 PM kickoff. Keep an eye on ChannelSurfing.net for how you may be able to watch or listen to this game online. Thankfully, CBS will air it locally in my market, so I’ll be able to watch again.

Holy Crap! The NFL Network will be broadcasting the game live!
Saturday, August 23, 2008 @ 4PM for 3 hours! Check your local listings for NFL Network channel information.
That means a lot of Brady “air” time and video caps!

August 21st, 2008 at 8:35 amI’m glad it’ll air locally, cuz the NFL Network, besides being entirely too expensive isn’t available on Time Warner in Central Ohio (the major cable co.). TW is teh suck, BTW.
