Chud Speaks on QB Situation
Browns offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski also thinks the lack of an open competition at QB is a good thing. We Brady fans feel differently. Competition breeds success. But whatever. Water under the bridge.
“We’ve been working with Derek as the starter. I think Brady [Quinn] has had a great attitude about the situation and where we are with it. The bottom line is he has to prepare as the starter every single day in his mind. I was fortunate to be around the Drew Brees-Phillip Rivers situation in San Diego. Two guys who turned out to be great quarterbacks in this league. [Quinn] will be a better football player because of this.”

I definitely agree: As one of Brady’s biggest fans, the lack of an open competition at QB is not a good thing. Competition does indeed breed success. However, I just know that Brady will win the starting QB job during the Browns mini-camp this summer.:) I just know!! =]
May 12th, 2008 at 1:14 amI am getting tired of articles reminding me “of the situation.”
It’s like a scab on your hand. You see it, people comment on it; just give it some time to heal and all will be right.
Stop POKING the scab! (Unless the scab is Derek Anderson, then poke away.)
May 12th, 2008 at 5:54 amOk: The proof will be in the pudding on the first game if da gets the job. The proof will come quickly that da is a good back-up and Brady is indeed the best choice. He’ll either become starter the 3rd game ot in the mini camp! Can’t wait! Now, back to school.
May 12th, 2008 at 8:31 amMy God, the brainwashing agenda of Savage is starting to see results in the coaching staff…
If anyone needs me, I’ll be beating my head against a wall somewhere.:P
May 12th, 2008 at 2:39 pmDerek Anderson is certainly a scab.
