New Deal for DA After All?
So maybe the midnight free agency deadline was really just a starting point for the serious negotiations for Derek Anderson and the Browns.
James Walker of The Columbus Dispatch, citing numerous “sources”, reported that a few hours past midnight the Browns an DA reached a $24 million with $12 million guaranteed. That’s an improvment over the initial $20 million w/ $10 million guaranteed offer, the Browns had previously offered. They length of the deal is still 3 years.
So the Cleveland Browns keeps its stable of QBs intact for 2008, just like they wanted.

Yes, but the weather in a football franchise is still fickle. Thigns can still dramatically change before kickoff next late summer.
On a side note, what causes the inability to view Brady-Quinn.org and Bradysbunch.org? Sometimes the hold-up lasts hours?
One more thing. Are you going to see Brady tomorrow at the car show, or how about in April in New Jersey like a few of us? We are Bradybound and loving it!

March 1st, 2008 at 5:41 pmServer issues that I have no control over. I have voiced my displeasure for all of the recent downtime with my hosting company. I pay entirely too much money for my sites to be down as much as they have been as of late.
Travelling to NJ is not really an option for me; too far/expensive. I did not go up to Cleveland yesterday either. I don’t usually roll to out-of-town events by myself. Especially events that only last a couple of hours.
March 2nd, 2008 at 3:39 pmThanks for the reply. Is there anything we as a Brady Bunch can do?
March 3rd, 2008 at 9:35 amThe only thing I can think of is upgrading the server and that’s pricy; nothing I would dare solicit from the loyal visitors of this site.
I’ll try to think of something!
