Turnovers hurt Cleveland in 21-27 loss to Arizona
Well, the saying goes that you can’t win ball games if you turn the ball over. That held true today as the Cleveland Browns fell to the Arizona Cardinals 21-27.
Derek Anderson threw 2 interceptions, and the team accounted for another 2 turnovers in the loss. The Browns accumulated more overall yardage than the Cardinals, but the mistakes added up.
Despite the 4 turnovers, the team was always still in the game, but simply ran out of time an opportunities. The Browns fall to 7-5 and are now tied with Tennessee in the AFC Wildcard playoff race.

Augh! I have never seen so many flags! If I were the coach I would penalize each one responsible for personal fouls. There is no need to push people, unnecessary roughness, and kick the football when clearly it would be cause for an infraction. DUMB. All of those turn overs gave Arizona 21 points! Yes, there were some nice shots of Mr. Quinn this game, but even that didn’t (quite) negate the effects of poor playing. Next stop…. New York. Let’s not mess that up. SHeesh.
December 3rd, 2007 at 8:16 amAlthough I am not aloud to say anything hateful about Anderson (becuase we won the Ravens game) I have so many things I want to tell him. How much more can we take? As the team and fans? From day 1 I said “Anderson, although he’s getting ‘better’ is going to fall back again. Just put Brady in. He can handle it.” My dad said it’s best for Brady. But what about the team? I called this sucker right, Anderson’s fallin’ back to intersceptions and such. We need Brady. He’ll take us to the play-offs and bring the Browns up next to the Steelers, maybe even the Colts and Cowboys. Dare I go to the Pats? (Next year of course, lol) Well…we must wait. Gr.
