Browns Use Overtime to Defeat Ravens 33-30
For the second time this season the Browns recorded a 33-30 overtime victory. The last one came against the Seattle Seahawks and this one against the Baltimore Ravens. With the win, the Browns claim sole possession of second place in the AFC North division.
Kicker Phil Dawson has been quite busy in recent games and today’s win was no different. He needed to make 2 crucial field goals, late in the game, to seal the win for the Browns. The first field goal had to be sent to the review booth to figure out if it was good; it was and that forced the game into overtime. The Browns won the coin toss, then drove down the field, and Dawson returned to the field for another field goal. No controversy this time! He nailed the 33 yarder and the Browns improved their record to 6-4 and remain in the hunt for a playoff Wild Card berth.
Next week, the Browns will play host to the Houston Texans. Kickoff is at 1PM (ET).
