Browns Win 3rd Straight in OT 33-30
The Cleveland Browns came into Sunday’s meeting with the Seattle Seahawks looking to extend their current win streak to 3, and after a competitive overtime session, they did just that. The Browns are now 5-3 heading back into conference play at Pittsburgh next week.
The team was running on all cylinders in the second half, as they overcame a 21-9 halftime deficit to take the lead late in the game. The Seahawks charged downfield and kicked a field goal with 2 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime. In the end, Phil Dawson sealed the win with a 25-yard field goal.
Starting QB Derek Anderson had a big game, throwing for 364 yards. Running back Jamal Lewis contributed 4 rushing TDs. Kellen Winslow Jr. (11 receptions for 125 yds) and Joe Jurevicius (4 receptions for 69 yards) stepped up big for the Browns as well.
