High-scoring affair as Browns top Bengals 51-45
It was a long time coming. Coming into today’s game, the Bengals had won 6 of the last 8 games against the Browns; including the past 5 meetings. After last week’s thrashing from the Steelers, Cleveland needed to turn things around, and fast!
And they did, to the tune of a 51-45 win that featured over 1000 yards of total offense.

Brady Quinn did not take a single snap today, but I bet if you asked him his feelings on it, he wouldn’t be too terribly disappointed. If he were to have played today that would have meant that things weren’t going well for his team. While I’m sure he would have loved to play today, the circumstances that would have warranted shis entry wouldn’t have bee desirable. Brady Quinn is a team player.
Derek Anderson did not disappoint and sent the message to the Browns that they made the right choice in keeping him and dealing Charlie Frye. He threw for 5 touchdowns and had just 1 interception. He was adequately protected by the O-line and not sacked a single time.
Thanks to the Browns for giving their fans something to cheer about.

Let me tell you, IT ROCKED!!!! I think I about died a couple times, it was such a great game. One we worked hard for, and really showed that we’re a great team.
I most deff loved the part when C. Johnson jumped into the Dawg Pound only to be hit, given the fingure, and have beer thrown on. Truely a wonderful sight!
It was a wonderful game, I was so proud of Anderson for getting us up and Cribbs for running all those yards, and Edwards for not dropping the ball, and Joe J. for rocking. Everyone did. AWESOME!!! MORE GAMES LIKE THIS TO COME I KNOW IT!
