Browns Week 2: The Battle of Ohio

In-state rival, the Cincinnati Bengals, visit Cleveland Browns stadium today for the Browns’ second straight AFC North match-up.

The big storyline is whether or not Derek Anderson will prove to be a worthy and effective replacement for Charlie Frye and if he isn’t, when Brady Quinn will get his first taste of NFL regular season action. But fans of the franchise will also be interested to see if the Browns can avoid a repeat of last week’s dismal performance against the Steelers. First and foremost the team needs to protect the ball and not turn it over to the Bengals. That stat was key when looking back at their loss the previous week.

CBS will televise today’s game at 1:00PM (ET) followed by the NY Jets vs. Baltimore Ravens.
