Browns GM: Brady Quinn Will Not Start 1st Week
In an interview with the News Herald Saturday night, Browns general manager Phil Savage made it clear that Brady will not be the team’s starting QB for the 1st regular season game against the Steelers.
“It’s unrealistic for Brady to be in the mix for the opener.”
It’s only a matter of time before Brady becomes the starting quarterback for the Browns, but for right now, the competition to start is between Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson.
The Browns’ last preseason game is Thursday against the Bears in Chicago.
