Brady’s Hometown Fans Will See Pre-Season Games on 10TV

WBNS-10TV will air all four of the Cleveland Browns’ pre-season football games in high-definition, the station announced Tuesday.

Three of the four games will take place on Saturday nights in August. For the first time, the games will be produced and aired in full HDTV.

The four games are:

Aug. 11: vs. Kansas City: 7:30 p.m.
Aug. 18: vs. Detroit: 7 p.m.
Aug. 25: at Denver: 9 p.m.
Aug. 30: at Chicago: 8 p.m.

“Each season we do our best to accommodate both the Browns fans and the Bengal fans with the best in game coverage and coverage on Wall to Wall Sports,” said Frank Willson, 10TV’s Director of Operations. “With the expectation of Dublin native Brady Quinn making his pro-debut, these games made all the sense in the world for us to carry.”

Willson said that 10TV is pushing CBS to carry more games in HD.

“High-definition television is no longer a luxury in professional sports — it’s an expectation,” Willson said. “WBNS-10TV has led the way in HDTV carriage and production. We appreciate the Browns giving us an HD option this year.”
