Hold out in Brady Quinn’s Future?
The Cincinnati Enquirer is reporting that according to “Browns Insiders”, Brady’s agent, Tom Condon, may hold him out when the team’s official training camps start. The idea behind his move is to secure a better contract for Quinn despite where he was selected in the NFL draft.
Brady was asked about the possibility of a hold out and here’s what he had to say:
“That’s something, I don’t know, that’s (Condon’s) job. The pressure’s on him, not me. The pressure’s on me to perform on the field. I think there (are) two sides to it. It’s not just on me. It’s on him and the Browns. They’ve got to come to an agreement and figure something out. I’m just a guy out here playing. They’re doing all the talking.”
Browns training camp is scheduled to start in late July. If the holdout does occur, the starter quarterback job all but belongs to Charlie Frye.
